About Cala Pi
Cala Pi is an urbanization on the coast of the municipality of Llucmajor. With beautiful views of Cabrera, in summer there is always a breeze from the sea and in winter it has the wind from landside. This makes that specially in the Winter it can be up till 8 degrees warmen then in the north if the island while in the summer you have a nice summerbreeze all day. It has one of the most beautifull beaches of the south of Mallorca.
Llucmajor is located in the south of Mallorca in the Migjorn region, the town has excellent access to the highway and is only 15 minutes from Son Sant Joan International Airport and 20 minutes from the Balearic capital, Palma de Mallorca. Surrounded by farmland and beautiful rural corners with views of the forest and the mountains. With very easy access to the roads that lead to the small beaches and coves of the south coast, both by car or by bike. Due to its geographical location, Llucmajor has a milder climate in winter than the rest of the island, reaching temperatures up to 6 degrees higher than the north.
The center of the town has, like all of them, a market square (Plaza de España), where there are restaurants, bars, supermarket, doctors, banks, shops, etc. in the main street around (La Ronda) there are large supermarkets and all that is needed. In addition, a PAC (medical attention center) that is open all year round 24 hours a day.
Llucmajor also has nurseries, elementary schools and an institute.
Neighboring towns: Palma de Mallorca, Algaida, Montuiri, Porreras and Campos. It has first-rate tourist centers such as El Arenal and is close to one of the most beautiful beaches: Es Trenc and Cala Pi.
The Llucmajor Coast consists of numerous residential centers such as Son Veri, Las Palmeras, Maioris, Puig de Ros, Sa Torre, Badia Blava, Badia Gran, Tolleric, Cala Pi, Vallgornera, Es Pas, S’Estanyol and Son Bieló.
Ideal for cycling and hiking or horse riding, with routes that run along the coast and inland and the golf courses are not to be forgotten either.
Visit: El Refugi de S’aguila, El Faro de Cap Blanc, Los Talayots de Capocorb Vell, Cala Pi beach and Club Nautico de ’Estanyol, wineries and vineyards.
